Luang Prabang, Laos

Allison checking out the mighty Mekong River that runs along next to the Luang Prabang. While we were taking in the sights, so many monks were out around as well.

This picture was taken down by the river. As you may have guessed, Allison took this one.

View of the Nam Khan river east of town. On our last full day in Luang Prabang, Allison and I sat down by the banks, enjoyed a large BeerLao and watcher the sun set. Everythings much more romantic while drinking BeerLao.

Just off the main drag there were tons of local markets. Luang Prabang had by far the most interesting items to purchases, including live furry rats tied to a stick lying in the street. Watch your step.

Just outside our hostel was the JoMa Bakery where we ate breakfast every single morning during out stay. We each ate a bagel egger, basically a bagel egg sandwhich with ham and cheese. They were delicious. In this picture, Al and I sample a warm cinnamon bun. After 2 weeks of travel in South East Asia, we just had to have a familar taste from back home to get us through.
