Here is our last night in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The Luu Thanh's had us over for dinner at their house. It was quite the feast. A three course meal with a bunch of new dishes for us to try. These people have been more than generous to us while we were in town. Phung brought us fresh fruit everyday and was always trying to help us find plenty of things to do in town.
Here is Tong preparing this cake thingy. It is hard to describe the tast of this. The banana leaf is wrapped around sticky rice and beans with some sort of meat. We tried our hardest to eat it all but we were not used to the taste and we were so full at this point!!
Tong was breaking out the liquor for Nic. He had some Disarono and tried to get him to have some johnny walker wiskey. It was pretty funny. I tried my first glass of Vietnamese wine, lets just say that it was not the same as Italy, but it was nice to have something other than beer.
