Here is
Nic being entertained by one of the many dancing Chinese figures (we don't know the name for it) on New Year's Eve, which was quite the celebration. There we people galore in HCMC, we got to hear the fireworks at midnight, but our terrace didn't quite face the right direction, darn.
We decided that after a day and 1/2 of sight-seeing we should seek out a pool to relax and swim. The Rex Hotel offers 5 star
accommodations, which of course we cannot afford, but we sure can pay for the pool fee. We lounged by the pool for 1/2 a day and Nic hit up the gym and I took a nice steam. Maybe someday we will be able to travel like this...for now we will stick to the hostels and backpacks ;)

You guys seem to be having the time of your life!! So excited that you have gotten to experience all of it. The nail relatives seemed to really enjoy you two. You are gonna have to help me bargin as I'm not good at that. I just want to give them the asking price!! Can't wait to see you both this week. We are very excited!! Love you, Mom
